Fall!

Although having lots of trees in our yard is very nice, it makes for a lot of raking -already! After working hard we played in the leaves for a while and took some family pictures (hard to coordinate 4 people to look good on pictures.) Geneva picked up leaves and jumped in leaf piles for over an hour while we raked. Fall is our favourite season and we love all the beautiful colours God blesses us with!

Springridge Farm

We hung out at home this Thanksgiving weekend. On Sunday, Rudy and Tina, Kyle and Travis came up to visit and we went to check out Springridge Farm. VERY cool, although it was VERY busy. A lot of city folk visitin' the country I guess. Anyway, we went on a wagon ride, painted pumpkins, saw some animals, and climbed some hay. A very very nice day and gorgeous weather too. (I got a sunburn in October, hard to believe but true.

Painting pumpkins. Geneva's first time using paint, we might have to do it again, she loved it! She was soooo careful with her paint.

Travis and Geneva get all cleaned up. These two could easily pass for brother and sister with their light, light blonde hair.

October

My hoodlums and Matthew, the little guy I babysit one day a week. He's a real sweetie. Aside from him, I'm taking a break from babysitting and plan on starting up again in the new year. I love babysitting, but it's nice to have just our girls at home too of course.

Hike

We have some hiking trails behind our house that we don't utilize often enough. But Geneva is finally at the point where she can walk for long periods of time and not slow us down a ton. Ok, well, she still makes for a pretty slow hike, but it's all good. We had a lot of fun.
